When I first thought about who I wanted to interview for our blog, I came up with a looong list of people but the one person that stood out is the person I have the pleasure of sharing with you today.
She has been there since day 1, actually make that day 0, so it was fitting to have her be our first feature.
This person came into my life, my actual real life, when I was in my early 20s through mutual friends. She was one of those people that was always very nice and sweet, though we didn't know much about each other or had the chance to really spend time together. By definition, she was an acquaintance.
If you've been following FGV for a while, you may remember that in my early 20s, I started another business. It was an online community meant to connect bucket listers with the intention to help cross off bucket list items. When we first launched, it was crickets until I got a notification on Facebook that someone had given us a shout out. Sure enough, it was that same amazing and kind acquaintance that shared our site and company with her friends.
Since that day, she has continued to be one of our biggest supporters and now, dearest friends. If you know her, you love her. If you don't know her, you need to get to know her because my friend, Kat, is one of the biggest gems out there.
I hope you enjoy getting to know her a little bit more just as I did.

Do you remember your first letter board, and do you still have it?
(and OG FGV!)
I love all things creative, whether it's card making, baking, and general crafts with my kids.
As many moms, I end up being taxi driver, chef, nurse, housecleaner, CEO of my house and hanging with my 3 kids and hubby.
whole thing is that I have a very good vibe tribe and we've kinda of dubbed ourselves The Letterbroads. We are all moms, own Felt Good Vibes boards, and are just trying to get through life with a little humor!
Funny enough, jumping onto IG has really made some changes for me in 2019. I've cultivated some amazing online friendships and relationships. Even finding some work helping Agnes @hellowonderful_co where I get to be creative! Meeting some amazing women in real life after meeting on IG - such as @theshelleybeans - who I talk to regularly and she's been a huge part of my creative resurgence!
Most meaningful has been helping my cousin and his family as they navigate a terminal illness. Learning to appreciate time and find the good in everything. It's been an emotional roller coaster, but it has truly made me appreciate so much and learn that sometimes the little things don't matter as much as we think they do.
Through tapping into my creative side more, I am wanting to really make a space for myself where I can do all things creative, my card making and my letter boarding especially.
Hardly anyone knows that I was in a movie with Tim Allen in it and I played myself as a career coach in a classroom. It was called Fired! and no one can find it anywhere because it was such a low budget film!

Show of hands, who else is frantically searching Google looking for this movie now? Anyone? No, just me?
It's pretty easy to say that my once acquaintance has now become a dear friend and someone I count my lucky stars for. She is kind, strong, and sharp with a heart of gold and selfless nature that anyone would be considered lucky to have in their life. If you're not already connected with Kat, you can find her over at @FeltyFeelings on Instagram.
